Effective September 25, 2026.
1. Who we are
Franked is operated by FIVEACES INC. ("Franked", "we", "us"). By using franked.email, the Franked dashboard or a Franked payment page, you agree to these terms.
2. The service
Franked gives recipients an email address that delivers to their existing inbox. Mail from addresses the recipient has approved is delivered directly. Mail from other senders is held, and the sender may pay a one-time delivery fee to have the message delivered. Franked is currently a private pilot and features may change.
3. Recipients
- You must provide a delivery address you control and keep your sign-in secure.
- You set your delivery fee, hold period and charity. Changes apply to messages received afterwards.
- You decide whether to refund a fee. You don't receive fees yourself.
- You may not use Franked to extract payments through deception, or to receive unlawful content.
4. Senders and delivery fees
- A delivery fee is charged once per message, through Stripe, and the message is delivered immediately after payment.
- Paying delivers your message. It does not guarantee a reply, a response time, or any particular outcome.
- Refunds follow our refund policy.
- Fees that are not refunded are our revenue. As a company policy we donate an equivalent amount to the charity the recipient chose. Senders do not receive a donation receipt.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Franked to send or receive unlawful, fraudulent, harassing or malicious content, to attempt to bypass holds or payments, to probe or attack the service, or to impersonate anyone. We may suspend addresses or refuse payments that break these rules.
6. Mail handling
We process messages only to deliver them, hold them, show them in your dashboard and operate the service. How we handle personal information is described in our privacy policy. Email is not guaranteed to be delivered, and we are not responsible for mail lost or delayed by other providers.
7. Availability and changes
The service is provided as is and as available. We may change or discontinue features, and will give recipients reasonable notice of material changes to these terms.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to Franked is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
